Patagonia stirs something deep… a quiet reverence, a wildness you don’t just see, but feel. Here, the land stretches wide and raw beneath skies that never seem to end. Towering granite peaks rise out of glacier-fed lakes, winds move like whispers of old stories, and the silence hums with presence. This is the kind of place that strips you down to your truest self — where time slows, and the natural world reminds you how to listen again.
Nestled in the heart of Patagonia, your retreat home is where rugged landscapes meet peaceful comfort.
With sweeping views of vast valleys and towering peaks, it’s the perfect blend of adventure and serenity. After a day of exploring the wild, retreat to a space that invites relaxation, warmth, and connection with nature. Here, every moment offers the chance to breathe deeply, unwind, and feel grounded in this remote and breathtaking corner of the world.

Meet the Team
Gess, Kate, and Allie make up the Flow State Retreat Team — a trio of teachers, guides, and behind-the-scenes magic-makers who are passionate about creating spaces for people to pause, reconnect, and move with intention.
Kate, founder of Flow State, leads with warmth and intuition. Her vision shapes the heart of each retreat, blending soulful practice with grounded presence. Gess, a seasoned teacher and community builder, weaves flow, structure, and care into every detail — holding space both on the mat and off. Allie brings a steady, supportive energy to the team, helping guests feel at ease and held from the moment they arrive.
Together, they create a rhythm that feels intentional, connected, and deeply human — where the land leads, and you’re invited to listen.

Hi, I’m Gessica — a 200-hour RYT and someone who’s endlessly curious about the human experience. My love for movement and breath led me to yoga, but it was the practice of self-study that truly cracked me open. Through asana, I began to discover myself — piece by piece — and that journey of inner exploration continues to shape the way I move through the world.
I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies by slowing down, tuning inward, and learning to listen to the subtle wisdom within. I believe that when we soften enough to hear the whispers of the body, we open the door to a deeper understanding of ourselves .
I met Kate four years ago, and it changed everything. She trained and mentored me, but more than that, she invited me into a way of teaching and being that is creative, honest, and fiercely authentic.
Flow State has been home to my evolution as both a teacher and a human, and I’m grateful every day for the community it continues to shape.

Hi! I'm Kate! I am a 500+ E-RYT and have taught thousands of hours of yoga all over the world. I started as a Baptiste trained teacher and fell in love with the vigor of the asana practice, but soon began to explore creative movement; weaving in unique, functional, and dancelike sequencing that felt like strong poetry to my body.
My true aim is to create safe and inclusive spaces for people ready to go inward whether on retreat on in a training. I work to balance the spaces and containers from the yogic idea of Stirtha Sukha - strength and ease: often encouraging people to their edges for growth while fostering a caring resting place for all.

Photographer | Warm Hearted Observer
Hi, I'm Alexandra or Allie, Alex, Al, I respond to them all. I grew up always having a camera in my hand. After I graduated high school, I moved to California to attend Art School, where I studied Film and Video. I quickly realized film was not what I wanted to do and eventually changed my focus where I fell in love with photography.
I've been growing my photography business in Charleston since 2015 and nurturing authenticity from behind the lens along the way. Little Runaway Photography was born out of wanting to capture our most wild, raw sides because we believe that is where the real story gets told.
“The RISE team took such care of the details, from the place we stayed, to the Yoga sequences, workshops that let us process and share so much we brought in our hearts and souls, to the silent coffees and enriching outings.
Having shared this experience with like-minded people whom I can call family now, was priceless.
Kate led us with so much love, into our inner selves in the search of our joy and our light that no words can thank enough how each moment was one of transformation and connection.
I came back with a new vision of myself and what I could do with my life, not only with the little daily things that give us happiness and grounding, but also with the big great things that can change the course of my life forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for helping me find my light.”
