I fell for yoga in one class. That was all it took for me to say yes. Now, I know that isn’t everyone’s story- but it is mine. For me, hearing the breath of others, feeling the strength and sweat on my skin, finding myself upside down, wide open and completely lost (I had no idea what I was doing), was what it took for me to feel found.
I am a 500+ E-RYT and have taught thousands of hours of yoga all over the world. I started as a Baptiste trained teacher and fell in love with the vigor of the asana practice, but soon began to explore creative movement; weaving in unique, functional, and dancelike sequencing that felt like strong poetry to my body.
In Charleston, SC, I created and directed two award winning yoga programs, was honored to be the recipient of Charleston’s Best Yoga Teacher in 2019, and was named a lululemon ambassador from 2019-2021.
My true aim is to create safe and inclusive spaces for people ready to go inward whether on retreat on in a training. I work to balance the spaces and containers from the yogic idea of Stirtha Sukha - strength and ease: often encouraging people to their edges for growth while fostering a caring resting place for all.
