Come join us in the quiet countryside of Iceland—where mossy lava fields meet snow-capped peaks, and warm geothermal waters wait just beneath the surface.
We’ll explore some of the country’s most beautiful natural places, soak in the Sky Lagoon, walk beside waterfalls, and gather each day for movement, good food, and connection. Think cozy villas, fresh local meals, and time to slow down, and of course experiences of a lifetime that have been on your bucket list your whole life.

The Retreat Homes
Situated on our host Erla’s ancestral families farmland in the middle of the Icelandic mountains, our retreat homes are newly renovated farmhouses turned luxury villas. The farm is the ideal place to unwind, reconnect with nature and immerse into local culture.
Whether you stay in the Villa or the Barn, the homes sit side by side and are both modern and tastefully restored to provide a sense of coziness with stunning views on the surrounding landscape.
Enjoy snuggling up next to the fireplace with a cup of tea and good conversation, sitting out in the hot tub at night under the stars, or gazing out over the mountain side with your journal - our homes hold space for all of it.

Meet the Team
Kate, Amanda, and Allie each bring something unique and essential to this retreat—and together, they create a grounded, welcoming, and intentional space to land.
Kate leads with heart and presence, guiding movement, exploration, and reflection with gentleness and clarity. Amanda brings her deep care to the kitchen, nourishing guests with home-cooked meals that feel comforting, seasonal, and full of love. And Allie, the gifted eye behind Little Runaway Photography, captures the moments in between—the quiet, the joy, the realness—so you can fully live the experience while trusting that it’s all being held.

Hi! I'm Kate! I am a 500+ E-RYT and have taught thousands of hours of yoga all over the world. I started as a Baptiste trained teacher and fell in love with the vigor of the asana practice, but soon began to explore creative movement; weaving in unique, functional, and dancelike sequencing that felt like strong poetry to my body.
My true aim is to create safe and inclusive spaces for people ready to go inward whether on retreat on in a training. I work to balance the spaces and containers from the yogic idea of Stirtha Sukha - strength and ease: often encouraging people to their edges for growth while fostering a caring resting place for all.

Photographer | Warm Hearted Observer
Hi, I'm Alexandra or Allie, Alex, Al, I respond to them all. I grew up always having a camera in my hand. After I graduated high school, I moved to California to attend Art School, where I studied Film and Video. I quickly realized film was not what I wanted to do and eventually changed my focus where I fell in love with photography.
I've been growing my photography business in Charleston since 2015 and nurturing authenticity from behind the lens along the way. Little Runaway Photography was born out of wanting to capture our most wild, raw sides because we believe that is where the real story gets told.
Chef Amanda was inspired! She did an incredible job of providing healthy, local fare that was varied and interesting while accommodating the (many) requests of the group - all with a joyful heart! Plus, she is just a wonderful person and it was fabulous having her join the group (being the absent chef in the kitchen). We LOVE Chef Amanda!!! - Portugal client, 2023
